Group #1
Theme: Hubris and the downfall of man
Question: How does excessive pride lead to failure?
Thesis: Excessive pride blinds one to future failure, as one obsesses over the flaws of others, while overlooking one's own flaws.
Revision of thesis: Excessive pride blinds people to future failure because as one obsess over the imperfection of others, one's own flaws are overlooked. 

Group #2
Theme: Science versus nature
Question: Does the birthmark represent Aylmer's fear of mortality?
Thesis: Yes, because a birthmark is something you can't get rid of, which ties into his fear of imperfection, which is mortal and apart of human life.
Revision of thesis: The birthmark unknown nature and even demise reflects man's uncomforted with mortality.

Group#3
Theme: True beauty comes from within
Question: What is the true beauty, and where does it come from?
Thesis: True beauty comes from accepting the flaws you have and loving yourself regardless.
Revision of thesis: Only from accepting one's own flaws and mistakes is true beauty achieved.
Group#4
Theme: Self-acceptance
Question: Did she want to remove the birthmark she loved Aylmer or was she already insecure and Aylmer gave her a reason to?
Thesis #1: Ceding her mind and body to Aylmer's insecurities, Georgiana's deep love causes her to lose her reason and will to live.
Revision of thesis: Georgiana's love for Aylmer's cause her to lose her sense of judgment and will to live.

Group#5
Theme: The foolishness for striving for perfection
Question: If imperfections make us human, why are we obsessed with perfection?
Thesis: We are obsessed with perfection because people are inherently indulgent and always desire more, no matter what they own.
Revision of thesis: People are inherently indulgent because they are obsessed with perfection and having more than what they already have.
